Welcome to Michael NY..
...a four room guest house on historic Sylvan Terrace, a charming cobble-stoned street lined with Manhattan's last wooden row houses – land-marked by the City of New York, restored to their original condition and visited by tourists from all over the world.
Next door on one side is the Morris-Jumel Mansion, Manhattan's oldest house where George Washington stayed, now a museum surrounded by wonderful gardens and stately trees. On the other side, the quiet cul de sac ends at the steps to St. Nicholas Avenue, with stores and the subway entrance less than a one minute walk from your room.
Great Location, Easy Access to New York's Treasures
The neighborhood is vibrant and diverse, with beautiful brownstones and historic apartment buildings. Yankee Stadium is an easy walk over the Harlem River to the east, and the beautiful Hudson River Greenway with its miles of bicycle and jogging paths is even closer to the west. Nearby are Columbia University and Hospital, The Cloisters, and the soul food, jazz clubs, and Gospel Churches of Harlem.
But when Broadway, the Empire State Building, Central Park and the other famous sites of New York call you, walk 75 meters down the street to the subway station and catch the C train to Midtown, just 22 minutes away.
